So I got to see a great stage show the other day..Jersey Boys! It was a fantastic show. I also got to meet The Mayor of Chicago and get a fun interview with the Mayor of Naperville.

Good times had by all!

Saw a first hand look at Shrek The Musical last night. It will be opening in Chicago in the Summer of 2010. 2010? Remember when that was the distant future? It's almost here.
I did get to interview Bill Damaschke from Dream Works Animation. Nice Chicago guy!

I recommend taking your kids to see Shrek The Musical, along with the new Shrek feature due out next year.

Other than that I may get to interview Dreamworks CEO Jeffery Katzenberg on Monday. Shrek the Musical is coming to Chicago and he is coming to promote it. I am looking forward to covering it.

So, New Blog Post...

This week I am filming two scenes for some viral web videos produced by CNGM Pictures.

The scripts are hilarious so I am looking forward to helping bring some more comedy to the project.

On a networking side we had a great Actors Meet-Up group last week. We "auditioned" as part of a learning exercise. I had a few little quirks I need to work out, but overall I feel I did well. I could have gone a little "bolder" on a few takes just to stand out a bit. The real positive was that it turned out to be a great warm up, and I landed the viral video gig ( see above) an hour later.

Drove to Detroit yesterday for an audition for the Feature Film "Cedar Rapids." What a ride. The fall leaves in Michigan looked fantastic. Sometimes I miss the nature of my home State. The audition went well, great people at Pound & Mooney casting.
