So my 7th Episode of Weekend Workbench aired on WGN this morning. Over half way done with the season. What a learning experience! So today we hung some shelves, properly maintained a vacuum cleaner, and hung a 55" flat screen tv. After we shot the tv segment I was able to mount two of my own flat screens at home. I actually get paid to learn this stuff! Here is a video from episode 7 with myself and the Mensch with a Wrench. Enjoy!

I currently have a few show sponsored commercials airing on WGN and CLTV here in Chicago. We have AMAZING sponsors, and here is just a sample . The first one is a really cool RAM Truck piece shot at the 2013 Chicago Auto Show, and our second is a fun piece shot just a few weeks back at Lurvey Landscape and Garden Center  just outside of Chicago. Really grateful for have them both along with our other sponsors on board.

Just in case you missed it, here is a promo for the Weekend Workbench that aired on 4/21. I managed to help give an old grill new life, hang some blinds (ok, mostly I watched) and refurbish a hundred year old chair. Not bad for a days work.

Thank you to EVERYONE who has been watching us on WGN/CLTV. I am having a blast and learning a TON that I am now transferring over to my off-camera life. Last week I managed to repair our broken ceiling fan and build and plant our deck herb garden. A little fresh basil, oregano, and chives will come in handy right next to my grill this summer...not bad for a "TV HOST!"

You can check out all the action at http://cltv.com/weekend-workbench

Two Weekend Workbench episodes down, 11 more to go. This ride has been fun, frightening, and frantic! I hope you have enjoyed it so far. Honestly, I have learned so much not only about myself as an artist, but as a man. I can ACTUALLY build things now! This week I built an outdoor planter box that will be our very own herb garden for 2013! Rosemary, chives, basil, you name it! Here is a promo for this weeks Weekend Workbench that aired today on WGN. Feel free to check out our Youtube channel as well, or follow all the action at http://cltv.com/weekend-workbench/

Thanks!

Been getting tons of really fun auditions the last few months! PR Casting, Simon Casting, and OC Casting have all been really good to me.

I participated on a live segment for Roe and Roeper on 890 WLS yesterday thanks for Chicago Parent Magazine. It was pretty fun!

I am working a live medical convention tomorrow as an EMCEE. Should be a good time at the McCorrmick Center.

Well thanks for checking this out!

Ok, I realize I need to update but I was a little off the last few months, and now have my swag back!
I spent a few weeks in Europe this spring. Had a blast, drank some beer, ate some food, and drank some more beer!

I was on the June 2012 cover of Chicago Parent Magazine with my son Leo. It was a great experience and Leo thought it was pretty cool. My article in the magazine wasn't bad either. Thank you to all my friends and family for the support!

I had a really good audition at Claire Simon today. So much so my agent got a call about how good I was. It's SO nice to know you are heading in the right direction. I remember a few years ago bombing an audition BAD in the very same place.

Life is good, but I am trying to make it better. Times are tough at times and they will get tougher. Got to keep fighting.

As I wrap up 2011 I wanted to thank all the great people I had the chance to work with this year. It's been "reel!"

I was able to expand as an Actor, Host, Event Emcee, and Writer. As 2012 approaches I want to continue to grow with my goal of producing 1 thing on my own each month. Whether it be Acting of Hosting I want to keep my foot on the peddle.

I hope 2012 bring you everything you want!

Thanks!
